About Liza June

The name Liza June is a sweet combination of my 2 precious grandmother's names. My paternal grandmother was named Elizabeth Ann and my maternal grandmother was named Betty June. Both of these women played such a huge role in my life and were ALL about the accessories!! Elizabeth Ann (or Beth Ann as I called her), was more of a bling and rhinestone type gal. Everything matched, from the shoes to the purse to the jewelry and coordinated with her outfit. Everywhere she went, she was always "made up". She left her earthly home in 2004. Betty June loved all things western. Think fringe, feathers, and turquoise! I remember her having a red vest and red cowboy boots that she would wear to the senior citizen dance hall. She left her earthly home in 2011. I've contemplated having a boutique or doing something on my own for the past 6-7 years and have always LOVED clothes, shoes, and jewelry! Fun fact - I worked at Dressing Gaudy for about 6 months way back when...it was the funnest job! This past year I found myself struggling to find my purpose in life. I was burned out from my professional career, my kids had "flown the nest" and I had no idea what I liked to do or even what interested me. I really wanted to make jewelry and bought some cheap things to play with....and Liza June was born. This business has fulfilled a creative need within me that I didn't even know existed!
