Now as a kid, my family moved around the South quite a bit. As I'm sure you can relate, moving was never easy, but we had a ritual to get us through....every time that we got into our new home, we would decorate the empty walls right away. This made us feel more settled, more restful, and more at home in our new space. I'm not sure what came over me, but in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, I decided to pick up a paintbrush for the first time. And what happened next was nothing short of a miracle. It's hard to describe, but I quickly got into "the flow" and the art that emerged blew me, and everyone else, away! I had no idea that I could paint. How could it be possible that I had this hidden talent inside of me all of these years and I never knew it? Well, I don't quite know the answer to that question, but what I can tell you is that… much to my surprise, I am more than a wife, or mom, or friend… My name is Monica Bliss and I am an artist.
