A NEW LIFE from WASTE. ________________ Barbeau is all about connecting with the ocean with love and respect. We design our products to generate value out of sea waste, especially plastic, while promoting a circular and sustainable global economy. Barbeau, it's developed by Portuguese textile veterans who love our Blue Planet. In each product that we make, always produced with a mixture of organic cotton and SEAQUAL yarn, we can give new life to at least 10Kg of marine waste, with full traceability and quality. The SEAQUAL Initiative, is a non-profit organization with a unique collaboration of fishermen and local communities, who fight every day against plastic pollution. To go even further on our mission, our products already come packed in an ocean-friendly washing bag, which filters 90% to 100% of the microplastics released during the washing of synthetic fabrics.
