This was a special painting I did during the long Winter here in the Linville Gorge. I love the deep blues and long distance views and the quiet of the winter here but I found myself longing for the warmth and color of Spring more this year than I have in the past. This painting was what came forth from that, seeing the blues, but feeling the warmth wanting to creep in. Perhaps you have had days like that in the Gorge yourself.   The Original is 8x10" painting on 9x12" cotton hot press paper (It's slightly off center as shown in the photo, but can easily be framed to fit evenly).
