A true homeland of chili, Mexico has 64 established varieties of chili. We chose Ancho Pepper: an extremely tasty pepper that is sweet, almost sweet. It brings notes of raisins, licorice and tobacco. With Ancho Pepper, we are more sure of the taste than of the spicy. It is a mild pepper, 3/10 on the Scoville scale. It is perfect for sauces, broths, stews, or simply sprinkled. We receive them raw, whole from our producer directly from Mexico. After milling, all the flavors of this pepper are found intact in the pod.
