Start with the palms of your hands or the soles of your feet. Using long, even strokes, brush in the direction of lymph flow. Massage your body with the brush in rhythmic motions, applying gentle pressure. Brush the entire body, avoiding sensitive areas such as the face, chest, and décolleté. Brush care instructions: Ionized copper bristles are naturally resistant to bacteria, so the copper body brush requires less frequent maintenance. Clean it at least once a month. Cleaning instructions: Prepare a bowl of lukewarm water – make sure the water covers only the bristles, not the wooden base. Add a few drops of mild shampoo or body wash. You may also use a small amount of tea tree oil, but only a very tiny amount, as it is highly concentrated. Dip the brush with the bristles facing down and gently move it to remove dirt and dead skin cells. Rinse in clean water, again submerging only the bristles. Note: When cleaning the copper brush, the wooden base should not come into contact with water. Water can weaken the wood, causing it to crack or rot over time. Drying instructions: Place the brush on a dry towel, bristles down. Then blow dry with a hairdryer for a few minutes (avoid hot air) to dry completely. Or let it dry naturally. Notes: The bristles are firm. If you have sensitive skin, use the brush carefully and perform a patch test before use. Not recommended for facial skin. If you are pregnant, consult your healthcare professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. If you have a skin condition such as eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, or very sensitive skin, dry brushing with an ionized copper brush may not be suitable for you. Dry brushing is often too abrasive for these skin types and conditions. Our copper body brushes are personal hygiene products and therefore cannot be returned. Additional tips: The key is consistency. To achieve the best results, make sure to drink plenty of water after each ritual, as it helps flush out toxins.
