Inspired by the first canonized millennial saint, The Carlo Acutis candle brings to life so much of what Carlo lived for. Carlo Acutis was a tech savvy kid from Milan, Italy. He built an entire website that catalogues all of the Eucharistic miracles as a way to show people how the Eucharist is a real encounter with Jesus. Even as a child, he exhibited great humility and always kept God at the center of his life. His own personal motto is a great reality check for all of us - "Not me, but God." May this quote serve as an encouragement to live our lives in accordance with God, trusting in his plan, and encourage us to live out the virtue of humility. The scent for The Carlo Acutis candle was chosen very intentionally. We know Carlo had a deep love for the Eucharist, so his scent is inspired by a line from Eucharistic Prayer II: "Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ." Dawn + Dewfall is not only fresh scent of crisp morning air, but also a spiritual reminder of the holiness of the Mass. The scent profile is a blend of herbal sage and eucalyptus, paired with hints of green apple and lemon.
