This means that they are biodegradable even at lower ambient temperatures, such as those found in the environment in Europe. This ensures that degradation outside of industrial composting is also possible. Compared to other bioplastics, our biodegradable poop bags are characterised by a high degradation rate at low ambient temperatures. Plant-based Our biodegradable poop bags consist of 30% renewable raw materials, which are currently obtained from maize. The remaining proportion is made up of petroleum-based materials, but with a chemical structure that can be broken down by enzymes and metabolised by microorganisms into water, CO₂ and biomass - similar to the plant-based components. This means that these bags are completely biodegradable, even at low ambient temperatures.
