These darling plates are made on a handmade ceramic mold that was carved with an original sunflower motif. Before each piece of clay is paddled on the form, we add a rib line on the edge of the slab to create split edge that frames the embossed design. As each piece is individually handmade, the position of the flower and overall shape will vary slightly.
