Most of the cutting board will also be 1.75" to 1.5" thick but can also be cusomized. Cutting boards can also have feet installed and/or a juice groove. All of my cutting boards are treated with 2 applications of mineral oil and finsihed with a mineral oil beeswax finish to give it a nice sheen.  All cutting board sold come with a small container of mineral oil and beeswax to apply to your cutting board when it is looking dry.   Average size 12x16" 1.625" thick
