Back of card: 'It is believed that the first birthday cake was made in Germany in the Middle Ages. Cakes originally were bread-like and later became a much sweeter version, called Geburtstagskuchen.' Riso-printed with soy based inks. Please note that each print will vary very slightly, making each one one-off and unique. Offsetting may occur, we think add extra charm. This company was very easy to work with and their products are beautiful. I just wish the shipping costs were less. I've placed many orders with companies in the UK and Scout Editions shipping has been the highest by far, even though it was also the lightest (in terms of parcel weight).
