Mud Cloth is a hand woven, hand painted fabric from West Africa. The four inch woven strips of cotton are sew together, then dipped in natural dyes, painted and finished in small panels. Authentic mud cloth is always "imperfect and the weave is not as tight as manufactured fabrics. Using this tradition al cloth, these cross over bags are cute and handy for men as well as women.
