Squash is indeed a fruit. This polish is a creamy brick red/brown with a matte finish and is opaque in 1-2 coats. It is part of the Fruit Collection which can be found here. Use a good base and matte top coat to get more durability and longevity from your manicure! Want a glossy finish? Just use a normal glossy top coat! Matte Polishes: Because matte finishes are more permeable than glossy (they do not have a hard seal), they absorb colors and oils more readily. They will start to “lose” their matte finish over time so just refresh with another layer or a matte top coat to get full matte coverage again. Application Tip: These matte polishes are best applied in 1 thicker layer.
