Since 2015, I've been completely immersed in the coffee world. My first years of experience as a Barista provided a solid basis and enough curiosity to delve into the product where I worked passionately every day. Hard work should be rewarded. This made it all the more difficult to understand that coffee farmers are increasingly having to stop growing coffee because the price they receive for their product is scandalously low. That should be different, I thought, and I quickly met specialty importers. Importers who buy coffee with the same vision, directly from the farmer, to ensure that they get the right price. But those who get something extra also want to give something extra. The farmers are therefore more than happy to reward us with the highest quality beans, a larger harvest every year and trust. So the green coffee that we import not only contributes to economically sustainable development, it offers farmers the opportunity to keep growing the product they love most. It enables them to protect themselves against the threat of the changing climate and to focus on ecological growth. Read their story
