AMËZ is the World's First Gourmet Ajvar. Hi! My name is Fejsal Demiraj and I’ve been cooking professionally for over 20 years. I travelled the world in search of the best techniques and most unique flavors. I soon landed at Restaurant Noma in Copenhagen, where I gained the creativity needed to develop the World’s First Gourmet Ajvar, AMËZ! Our spread is the first of it’s kind in the U.S. retail market by an Albanian Chef and the first Gourmet Albanian spread in the world! Ajvar is the ultimate condiment. It’s a centuries-old tradition and we LOVE that. Like all great recipes, we learned from our grandmothers and worked hard to perfect it. AMËZ Gourmet Ajvar is an expression of Albanian flavor and inspired by traditional Ajvar; wood-fire roasted bell peppers and eggplant are peeled, chopped, slow-cooked for hours and finished with a bit of wild apple vinegar and sea salt. Chunky, smoky, creamy, sweet, and a bit tangy.
