This frog is great fun for all ages, fairly traded percussion instrument, this carved wooden frog güiro is made from acacia wood found in northern Thailand. Run the provided stick along the ridges on its back from rear to front to make it croak, or hit it on the head to make a ‘pock’ sound. It makes it a great gift! The production of the frogs started in Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand, and to make them the rough frog shape is carved out by hand. Each one is then carefully sanded down, finally they are drilled and are product tested with a tap to ensure each one has a great sound.
