These tiny bowls are around 20cm in diameter and are available as an assorted mix of 6 baskets which includes traditional black and earthy tones, and bright color patterns. These traditional baskets are hand-woven by basket weavers in the AfriBeads Women’s Association in Uganda. They are made using a traditional African coiled weaving technique from raffia palm tightly woven around a core of banana leaf stem. The patterns each represent an element of traditional African culture. The baskets are traditionally given in Uganda as gifts on special occasions and these small bowls can be used for a gift basket, coins, keys, jewelry or decoration. They can also be used as part of a wall feature.
