Superwash Sock Hi-Twist yarn has two strands lightly twisted together, which make it springy, coherent and strong. High twist yarns create garments that retain quality for longer and are resistant to abrasion and pilling so the yarn is ideal for socks. Machine washable, this yarn will not ‘felt’ when dyed or washed. The smaller percentage of recycled nylon adds durability to the knitted fabric. The 21.5 micron merino gives natural elasticity and is not itchy or scratchy on the skin. With 425m (465 yds) per 100g there is that little bit extra per hank making the yarn go even further.
