Tibor Gergely (1900–1978), a Hungarian-born artist, worked in stage design and European newspaper illustration and even contributed to the 1928 Olympics painting event! His charming illustrations live on in over 70 Little Golden Books and Margaret Wise Brown's Wheels on the Chimney! This item was designed and printed at our location in Seattle.

They are still here and so am I! Years after finding this brand in Atlanta during a summer show, it is a true pleasure to find them here. I love both the quality & the humor of the products. I grew up with Golden Books. Seeing these cards, oh my! And, I still have some of mine at 73 yrs "young"! This one reminded me of winning a teacher/student hula hoop contest before full audience in the gym. I won against a little teen cheerleader ... and made the front page of the local paper!
