The Countryside Seasons drawings featured on these correspondence cards are filled with detail – each one took about a month to draw. Every scene is set in the same stretch of picturesque rolling hills, with the shift into each new season shown through the changing flora and fauna (though the horse is always there, of course!). In Autumn, find ripe apples, swirling leaves, pumpkins, late-blooming flowers, a fox, a pheasant and a crow perched quietly in one of the trees. Each card is foil-stamped by hand in rose gold on cream 111lb card stock with an eggshell matte finish that provides a lovely writing surface.
