Description
This brewing bag takes the hassle out of making elderberry syrup! Simply place the mesh bag into 3 cups of water, boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45min. Discard the bag, and then add 1 cup of local honey. No need to strain out the berries or buy large quantities of expensive ingredients! Each bag makes approximately 16oz of elderberry syrup. Once made, the syrup lasts for 3 months in the refrigerator. The brewing pouches themselves keep for up to 2 years!
