Our products are hand crafted, and therefore the hole placement may vary slightly from product to product. Sizes 12-16 are an inch wide, while sizes 18-22 are just over an inch wide. To ensure best fit, measure dog's neck where collar would sit with two fingers under the measuring tape. Our collars are measured by the first hole, to the other end of the collar (at the buckle). The leather will slightly stretch over time, but for example if the measurement is 20 inches, then a 20 inch collar will fit. For dogs in between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
