It is a hand-made black tea-cup with sculpted Birds and Plum Blossom and hand-carved Chinese characters. A vintage-style cup that restored the Qing dynasty style in Dehua Kilns. The picture on the cup has a name in Chinese is 喜上眉梢, it means " happiness appears on the eyebrows". It's come from the Magpie the birds, and the Plum Blossom on the cup. Magpie is 喜 (Pinyin Xi) and Plum Blossom is 梅 similar pronunciation of Eyebrow in Chinese 眉。 This cup is made of Dehua Kaolin Clays, with the transparent glaze, as restored the Qing style, We didn't filter out some of the impurities in the clays, hereby it may not a perfect one, you would see few black points on the cup, this is caused by the iron in clays.
