Personal sized quilt hand sewn with vintage Japanese boro techniques and repurposed shibori fabrics from kimonos and other garments, organic batting and and organic wool from the Fibershed project as backing. One of a kind, every quilt I make is a study in color and pattern. Thin organic cotton batting gives it warmth and a little padding but not bulk. It is perfect for a baby blanket, being very easy to wash and dry by machine or on the line. All the quilting is with high quality sashiko thread. Take it to the park for a picnic or watching a performance.
