We just can't help imagining these Dubble Bubble El Bubble Original Bubble Gum Cigars as props for costumes -- with Groucho Marx glasses/nose/eyebrows, or with a top hat and monocle, like the rich guy in Monopoly. Or five or six of us, dressed in dog costumes, playing poker . . . with bubble gum cigars! Their charm is all in the detail: each Bubble Gum Cigar comes in it's own cellophane sleeve, sealed with a paper cigar band (which alas is probably too small to make an impromptu engagement ring for a grown-up's fingers. You'll have to pretend to get engaged with a napkin ring or something.) Bubble Gum Cigars are all about make-believe, whether you're a grown-up or a kid, and these cigars obligingly come with exotic-sounding names: there's the yellow Golden Dragon (banana-flavored); the green El Bubble (apple-flavored); and the Pink Owl (fruit-flavored). I filed a damaged goods report with faire twice about some candy products and didn't get a response, so I reached out directly to I Got Ypur Candy. they responded and eventually I emailed them pictures of the damaged product that I wanted to be credited for, but they have never credited or gotten back to me. This is a buyer beware. I bought product it was defective and they refuse to make good on it.
