This medal depicts The Theotokos (The God bearer). It is a rare icon known as a Agiosortissa Pectoral. It details Our Blessed Mother Mary surrounded by the 12 apostles. Her left hand openly points to Christ, and right holds a staff.  The Inscription: “MP-OY”  on either side of Mary’s head symbolize that she is the Mother of God. We have the original form of this medal. In its complete form it is a Tryptich that comes with two panel doors that hinge onto the outer sides of this medal. It is stunning!! CRUCIFIX: This is a solid bronze and elaborate hand cast design depicting Fleur-De-Lys at each end of the cross symbolic the Holy Trinity and the perpetual purity of Our Blessed Mother Mary.
