Hi! I’m Jen Zahigian, an Artist with a roadtrip-loving spirit and Founder of ArtHouse And Company. One day, a Collector of my work told me “you create photographs that make me feel like hugging someone.” Pretty amazing, right? I thought so too, and that statement has a lot to do with why I’m here. I’m on a mission to create Sunshine For Your Walls. Photographs that’ll make you smile and add joy to any environment. My work has been celebrated in galleries throughout California, including SFMOMA Artist’s Gallery, and in private collections internationally. I’m excited to share this Collection of Affordable Art prints and Greeting Cards with shopkeepers of the world in hopes of carrying forward the wanderlust spirit. My love for photography began as a child, when my Grandfather, a Photographer, taught me the magic of F-stops and shutter speeds with his hand-me-down film cameras. Together we’d explore Yosemite and other scenic spots and return to his color darkroom to create and develop prints. I learned how magnificently life appears when we slow down to see more — looking through the camera’s viewfinder changed my life, and continues to keep me grounded, curious, and inspired. Although I live my life with a wanderer’s spirit, the photographs I create are very color-specific.
