About LAM LAM was founded in 2020 by London based British Fashion Designer Lucy Anne Makewell, to create a luxury, contemporary, eco-conscious knitwear brand, showcasing the best in British design. The effortless knitwear has a feminine edge and unexpected details, whilst simultaneously caring for the environment. The ethos of the brand is to offer luxury knitwear which is both season-less and age-less. Lucy studied textiles at Chelsea School of Art, gaining her degree with a specialism in fashion knitwear. Lucy then gained over 20 years industry experience, designing for high street brands and high end labels, which has given her the passion to develop beautiful knitwear which is respectful to the world, ensuring that the yarns used are sustainable and ethical in production.
