About Revie

Light, fine sand meets turquoise-blue water — we marvel at the pictures of Southeast Asian seas on Instagram or old-school on postcards. But what the square posts don't show is the different format, the ugly side of paradise. Packaging, flip flops, plastic stools, fishing nets, smartphone cables, PET bottles instead of sand castles are built up on the beaches of Asia — breath-taking. But it is not only the sea that is drowning from our garbage, the rainforests are also being destroyed and CO₂ emissions are constantly increasing. This hidden side of paradise has made us rethink. We all had the same goal in mind — not only to continue to maintain our sustainable lifestyle, but to actively create change. We then got together and launched “Revie — Be part of the change” in 2019. During our semester abroad in China, we invested a lot of time to find fair producers and partner organizations that fit our project.Read their story
