About Habasha Hand Roasted Coffee

We are a Häbešha (Ethiopian) owned and operated coffee roaster. We aim to share the delicious flavours that are brought out of the coffee bean through traditional hand roasting methods. We offer specialty grade, ethically sourced coffee varieties from various regions within the birthplace of coffee. Hand roasted the traditional way as developed over centuries by the ancients, retaining and enhancing full bodied flavours that are diminished during modern machine roasting methods. Procured from Häbešha farmers and traditionally roasted by hand in small batches. It is estimated that there are between 6 and 10 thousand coffee varieties in Ethiopia alone, each village or town could potentially have a different variety, with its own distinct flavour profile and unique properties.
