Lord, the Donkey Beekeeper, this designation, arises, taking into account, that the donkey with the respective cart, was the means of transport, used by his grandmother Batista, as support in the management of the colonies, between our apiary and the warehouse. This beekeeping adventure, imposes itself from the moment, in which Jorge Gaspar, integrated a regional development organization in the area of Beekeeping, was in this way that interest in the world of bees arose. He started the first apiary, like a dozen colonies, in the first year. The following year, he drew up a very bold plan and managed to achieve, with the acquisition of swarms and some multiplications, reached the 200 colonies.Read their story
