Since its inception as a contemporary art jewellery practice, Bianca Mavrick Jewellery has evolved into a label with international appeal, with her jewellery and accoutrements sold in select boutique stockists, art galleries and luxury retailers globally. Jewellery designer Bianca Mavrick founded her eponymous label in 2013 in the final year of her Bachelor of Fine Art, majoring in Jewellery and Small Objects. Bianca came to jewellery with a background in Industrial Design and has over 15 years experience in gold and silversmithing. A lover of energetic, offbeat and unexpected colour palettes - the label is known for its inimitable use of colour treatments on metal, a singular focus for the label and a technique that has been refined over time. Bianca’s designs with intention, to create timeless pieces that occupy a space between precious jewellery and costume jewellery. She considers jewellery as an art object, imbued with symbolism, creating work inspired by contemporary art and design culture! Her continued focus on attention to detail and elevated craftsmanship sees her work consciously handcrafted in small batch production runs from her studio in Queensland, Australia. Read their story
