I'm Melanie and I have a passion for color. I went to school for art and developed a real love for creating and using color. Learning how to use dyes to color and pattern fabric was a natural progression in my career as an artist. After 20+ years, I still love dyeing fabric and to this day I continue to learn how to use different dye processes and print techniques. I started my business by attending art fairs and events. After a short break to have my family, I returned to making my art and creating color. With the advent of the internet and on-line selling platforms, I traded in my show going days for an online presence selling my wares. I like to think the impact I make is minimal in comparison to the massive impact the textile industry has on the environment. I strongly promote the idea that supporting artists can help diminish the negative effect high demand requires, while simultaneously fulfilling the product customers need and desire.Read their story
