Urgopore - light fixation of dressings and medical equipment - Urgo Urgopore is a tape indicated for the fixation and maintenance of dressings and frequently renewed medical equipment on sensitive and fragile skin. Microporous, it allows the skin to breathe and can be removed without leaving a trace. It is hypoallergenic to respect the most sensitive skin. Apply on cleaned skin, disinfected with an antiseptic, then rinsed with saline solution and dried. The tape is easily tearable to adjust the length of the strip for use. Remove gently and renew on average every 24 hours, or as prescribed. Precautions for use: * Keep out of reach of children. * Designed to stick on healthy skin. * The concomitant presence of greasy products or hair, use on wet areas, on joint areas, or areas of friction can impair adhesiveness and lead to the loss of the maintained medical device and a delay in healing (infection, multiple dressing changes, etc.) * For use in the elbow crease, apply the tape in the direction of the elbow fold. * To maintain optimal healing conditions, renew the tape if it is wet or in case of loss of adhesiveness. * The maintenance of medical equipment must have been explained by a healthcare professional. Do not sterilize. Contraindications: Not suitable for the fixation/maintenance of wet equipment or probes (hematology, resuscitation, incubators). Adverse effects: This tape may cause skin reactions such as redness, irritation, or dermatitis, especially on dry or damaged skin. In case of local reaction or itching, stop using the product and consult your healthcare professional. To minimize any risk of infection or skin reactions: * Strictly follow the instructions for use. * Do not reuse used tape. * Do not apply the tape directly on injured skin, on the eyes, or on mucous membranes (risk of irritation, inflammation, pain). * Do not use after the expiration date. * Do not use a damaged product.
