Each piece is hand printed with plants and grasses from the wayside. Susan Krieger has been living and working in the countryside in the Uckermark, northeast of Berlin, for 10 years. Located right on the Polish border, rich in meadows, fields and lakes, in the “Lower Oder Valley” national park. This typical floodplain landscape has an influence on Susan's textile art. She collects the motifs on daily walks with the dog. “Around our village, I find delicate meadow herbs along the way for my nature prints. I copy them onto my screen printing stencils without digital detours and make carefully designed linen linen.”Read their story
