About PlantLife

Our story begins in rural Uzbekistan with a young woman named Elmira. Elmira grew up with her great-grandmother treating the villagers' illnesses with the plants and herbs from the region. Elmira fell in love with both plant-based diets and cooking with fresh ingredients from surrounding farms. When she met her future husband Josef and moved to Vienna, she was shocked by the unhealthy diet and the impact it had on people's lives and well-being. Surrounded by “schnitzels and schnapps,” she made it her life's work to share the power of plant-based nutrition with the people around her. This is how the company Lemberona and later the PlantLife brand was born. Our founder Elmira is now a chef, fitness enthusiast, yoga teacher and life coach — a whole team is now bringing the high-quality, delicious fruits and nuts from all over the world to Europe. But no matter how much PlantLife is still growing, we remain true to Elmira's vision and go the extra mile when sourcing, harvesting and preparing our range: for fairness and naturalness.
