Above all was born from the vision of Federico Mondello, creative director of Mondelliani, eyestyle boutique for eyewear enthusiasts in the center of Rome, and Giovanni Botticelli, designer active in collectible design. Their passion for design, architecture and their constant research for an aesthetic and chromatic balance, bring to life shapes that aspire to timeless style typical of iconic objects. The ten-year friendship between the creative duo finds its creative balance and success in Federico’s continuous research, curiosity and yearlong work experience in the eyewear world as an optician and stylist, and in Giovanni’s attention to details and hunger for innovation. Our original eyewear is entirely Made in Italy, manufactured in the Belluno Area, the Italian eyewear district, recognized worldwide as the center of excellence for eyewear production. We partner with the Italian leaders in frame production and their highly specialized staff and craftsmen with the greatest heritage that they apply on cutting-edge technology.Read their story
