About Cedarwood Soap

Hi and welcome! My name is Dana and this soapmaking endeavor is my ‘baby.’ For two decades, I was a stay-at-home mom, wife, and graphic designer working in higher education. When our kids graduated from high school, I felt a deep urge for change. With the full support of my family, I left my job to pursue freelance design — which also gave me the time to dive into the other passions that light me up: gardening, canning, baking, and sewing. And then… I discovered soap making.
 What started as a hobby quickly evolved into a full-time business — and the beginning of something truly life-changing. Eight years later I still learn something new with every batch of soap I make and I hope you will stay with us on our journey as we grow & offer a continually expanding variety of all-natural bath & body products.
