The sponsorship of a child in Nicaragua in 2006 and a subsequent visit to the country years later, led Maureen Nikaido to learn first-hand about the origins of craft chocolate and the farmers who grow the beans. Moku Chocolate creates single origin bars to showcase the unique and enchanting flavor profiles of each region. ESSENTIALS Moku Chocolate brings out the nuances within really good cocoa using only three ingredients for dark chocolate bars: cocoa beans, cocoa butter and organic cane sugar. Additional bars may contain milk powder or inclusions such as nuts or orange peel. To allow flavors to really shine, we don't add soy lecithin, vanilla, flavorings, or preservatives.
