Not this time — they stopped supplying parts, and now you must buy the entire motherboard. How can a person who crossed continents hiking and biking lose to a paper cup in a coffee shop? I should have stopped buying laptops like disposable napkins. I was so angry, so I invented it. As a minimalist, I don’t tolerate objects that do only one job. If I design something, it must earn its place. My stand had to lift the laptop, hold the phone and the tablet, improve posture, and protect my eyes from overhead glare. One piece. No magnets, no adhesives. Just geometry. I taught myself 3D printing and printed the first ugly prototype. Then a cleaner one. Then a pretty one. Then I learned how molding works, because I needed the real thing — not a desktop toy. Wait a minute, why not? Let’s make it feel like a fidget with a nice snap sound. A top-tier engineer helped me finalize the manufacturing file. All angles were tuned, all edges softened, and the snap got loud. Then came learning how to communicate with manufacturers until it finally shipped. A real mold. A real product. A stand designed by desperation and manufactured with precision, born out of yet another spilled coffee.
