Segara was founded by Esther Singer, a PhD-trained environmental scientist who left biotech to build a different kind of coffee company — one centered on origin, flavor and human connection. Working directly with small farms across Indonesia, Segara brings rare coffees to the U.S. that are not available anywhere else. Rather than roasting dark to mask origin, Segara roasts with restraint to preserve the distinct character already present in each coffee — from floral and citrus-driven profiles to deep, layered espresso blends.
