About One Leg Films

“Alright everyone. I have been asked what powers One Leg Films. What makes us go everyday? I lost my leg in 2004 after a bad car wreck that sheared off my engine from the motor mounts at 120mph and collapsed my leg.  After a few months of pain, I told the doctor to cut it off and give me a better quality of life. Prior to the accident, I served in the Army from 1992 until 2000. After getting out and then losing my leg, I went into a serious drug addiction and hit rock bottom. I called my mom and asked for a bus ticket back home. My car, with all the belongings was firebombed the night before by a rival drug dealer. I then moved back up here and Co tinted my addiction until August 16, 2008. I got arrested for a probation violation and decided to sit my 6 months out and clean myself up. I was living in Colorado until December of 2013 when my father passed away. I mov3d back home with my mom and went back to college. By this time, I had acquired degrees in culinary, photography, and graphic design. I went to school for cinematography and audio. I then started One Leg Films to be a content company. I still will in the future, but now it's about launching the brand and amputee and veteran empowerment.Read their story
