Bonjour! I'm Salomé, the artist behind The Studio Hibiscus. I grew up in the French countryside, far from the tropics — but sun-drenched landscapes have always felt like home. Fifteen years ago I landed in Florida, first in Orlando and now in West Palm Beach and never looked back. These days you'll find me creating between surf sessions, shell hunts, and long walks on the beach with my husband and our dog, Pablo. Before becoming an illustrator, I owned a flower shop. That love for color, texture, and the quiet beauty of natural things never left, it just moved from the stems to the page. The Studio Hibiscus is where that all comes together: watercolor stationery and art prints inspired by coastal living, tropical flowers, and the beautiful places I've been lucky enough to explore. Every piece — whether hand-painted or created digitally — carries the same organic brushwork, warm light, and refined finish that feels like a long summer day. My collections draw from a life spent traveling — the lantern-lit streets of Japan, the sun-bleached coastlines of the Caribbean, the markets and countryside of Europe — and always come home to Florida.
