Local Littles is a mama-founded children’s bamboo pajama brand built around one simple mission: helping little ones “love where they live.” Founded by North Dakota native Jess Mouw during maternity leave after the birth of her son Otto, the brand was inspired by a desire for cozy, high-quality pajamas that celebrated hometown pride and Midwest roots. Jess partnered with Minnesota artist and former tattoo artist Aasta Waugh to create hand-drawn pajama designs inspired by local landmarks, wildlife, traditions, and the communities families call home. Today, Local Littles creates buttery-soft bamboo pajamas, blankets, and matching sets that blend comfort, storytelling, and regional pride.
