We are a Vancouver-based candle studio and gift brand. We hand-pour our own line of candles under Light Codes Studio and curate select gift items created in collaboration with Contemporary Indigenous artists. The collections are distinct — but they share one foundation: an intentional design approach, where every aspect of the design is a natural part of the story. In our candle line, that means nothing is decorative by accident. The artwork carries symbolic motifs. The scent is named to reflect that meaning. The fragrance composition is developed to deepen the story, layer by layer. This integrated design process shifts our candles from a home fragrance product into a cohesive art object — one that carries atmosphere, symbolism, and presence before it is ever lit. As a result, our pieces are often chosen as thoughtful, just-because gifts rather than purely functional fragrance or décor items. All candles are hand-poured in Vancouver in small batches using essential oil blends developed in-house. Our artist collaborations are built on direct partnership and royalty agreements that support creators through ongoing sales.
