About Weingut Bugner

The Bugner Winery is located right outside the gates of the state capital Mainz in Rheinhessen. Our vineyards are spread around the beautiful Klein-Winternheim. Our vines grow on limestone marl or very fertile loess clay soils and deliver new grapes every year, which are characterized by the character of Rheinhessen. With over 1,900 hours of sunshine, the grapes have optimal conditions for high-quality ripening. For over a century, the Bugner family has been growing wine and farming, a business that is simply typical of Rheinhessen.
