When I brought my Shih Tzu, Ollie, home to my city apartment, I quickly discovered the struggle of balancing pet care with my love for interior design. Standard disposable pee pads were functional but clashed with my decor, leaving me tucking them away whenever guests visited. One day, while arranging a new area rug, inspiration struck: why not create pee pads as stylish as my home furnishings? I began sketching designs and testing materials, determined to create a washable pee pad that looked like a chic miniature rug. When I presented the prototype to Ollie, it was an instant hit! It served its purpose and seamlessly blended with my decor. Guests were amazed to learn the stylish ‘rug’ was actually a pee pad. Realizing other pet owners likely faced the same issue, I launched Pupiboo to offer designer pee pads that let pet parents maintain a beautiful home without compromise. Today, I watch Ollie happily use his stylish pad and know that small innovations can make a big difference, turning everyday challenges into elegant solutions. Read their story
