In 2009, in the thick of the recession, Red Thalhammer texted a friend to apologize for being moody: "Sorry I was poisonous today." He wrote back, "No worries — I'll make an antidote for you." The word wouldn't let her go. What if there were a real antidote to the emotional weight people carry? By morning she had the answer: chocolate. Not candy — real chocolate with its medicinal benefits, potent enough to actually do something. Her mission has been simple: make a chocolate that actually delivers those cacao benefits. Beautifully packaged and crafted chocolate with perfectly balanced flavor combos. There are lots of fun and interesting chocolate bar flavors out there these days, but the flavors and the chocolate itself are often not up to par. Not the case with these bars! Highly recommend plus I love that they're made at origin.
