“It's an occasional contest that leads to a great adventure. In 2007, Amélie Harel, a hotel and catering employee, opened a creperie with her husband Frédéric in the Doutre district of Angers. The business is working well, the clientele is present, but the couple has two children and it is difficult to reconcile family life with that of the restaurant. In 2015, the creperie went on sale and quickly found a buyer. Amélie and Frédéric have no particular project, but former customers ask them to provide a few jars of the delicious caramel that accompanied pancakes... The wish was granted, it quickly turned into an order for other customers. The couple decided to set up a manufacturing laboratory at home, in the old farm of the Romagna Castle near Villemoisan.”Read their story
