Crochet Kitty® began in 2008 with a moment our founder, Abbie Swisher, never forgot. After one of her cat’s toys was destroyed, she discovered what was hidden inside: rocks. That frightening experience changed everything. With a background in fashion design and a deep love for cats, Abbie set out to create something better—cat toys that were not only fun and charming but thoughtfully made with safety at the center. Today, Crochet Kitty designs, produces, packages, and ships every toy from our headquarters just outside Cleveland, Ohio.
